Virgin Island Vacation Villas Rental Information
Escort:
Included with your stay at one of our villas is an escort.
Your escort will meet you at the airport or your car rental
agency and escort you to your villa. Once there, the escort
will show you through the villa, give you your keys, and
answer any questions you may have about the villa.
Housekeeping:
All of our villas are cleaned and prepared before your arrival.
A mid-week "hotel-type" cleaning is also included. Arrangements
may be made in advance for housekeeping services more often at
an additional charge. Usually $50.00 to $75.00 US depending on
services required.
Car Rental:
We recommend a rental vehicle to reach our villas and to explore
the island's many sights. Your stay will be much more enjoyable
with a rental car. Driving is on the left. Many of the roads on
St Thomas are steep but most are well paved. Your foreign or US
driver's license is valid here for 90 days. Rental vehicles are
available at the St Thomas Airport through major car rental
agencies and should be arranged for in advance. Taxi service
is available if needed.
Information Packet:
With your rental you'll recieve an information packet. This packet
has all the information you may need on topics such as groceries,
babysitting services, cooks, driving on St Thomas, dining
recommendations, nightlife, the other Virgin Islands, fun on
St Thomas, and much more.
Groceries:
If you do not order prestocking of food for your villa, you will
need to make an initial trip to one of the major grocery stores
as soon as you arrive. Your escort will give you directions. Plaza
Extra in the Tutu Park Mall is the newest and offers the most variety.
Beaches:
St Thomas boasts some of the most beautiful beaches in the world.
Magen's Bay Beach is a very short drive. Our favorites include Sapphire,
Coki, Secret Harbour, and Morningstar. There are many others to
discover and explore. Watersports, chaise lounge rentals, lunch
and refreshments are offered at many beaches.
Day Trips:
Take advantage of our close proximity to the other Virgin Islands.
St John is only a 15 minute ferry ride and offers excellent beaches,
snorkeling and hiking. The British Virgin Islands are also
served by ferry.
Golfing:
Mahogany Run Golf Course is near the villas. This 18 hole championship
course boasts spectacular views and challenging play. For tee times,
rates, and reservations, please call the pro shop at 340-777-6006.
